After the Rapture.

The world did not end on May 21st, 2011. I didn't really expect it to as I can remember dozens of these type predictions happening in my life and I'm not that old... What is scary is the coverage such a claim got. Bombardment of social networking, newspapers, radio, even on television. It makes you say, "What if?"
What would you do if there was proof that tomorrow was the end? Do you prepare? I think I'd try my best to go on and just hope it was quick.
The irresponsibility of making such a claim is what bothers me. There are people who believe such things. People that might have taken drastic, even suicidal measures based on the coverage alone.
Ignorance never ceases to amaze me. What does amaze me is that which is always considered "newsworthy". I guess doom sells.

  1. It seems that there is another group on the scene with a new perspective in disputing Camping’s prophesies. They make a compelling statement that “Jesus is here now.”
