In just under 5 hours, I will have 5 days off in a row. They'll be packed full of holiday stuff, friends and family and hopefully quite a bit of writing, but they won't be "at work"... What's the difference in work and leisure if it's packed and paced like an Indy 500 race? Happy for one. My work is challenging, but it don't make me happy. Accomplished sometimes, but it does nothing for the soul. Sometimes a paycheck just isn't enough. Guess that's why I write... why I play guitar... why I hang out with the kids and the wife. Hope everyone gets a few days off no matter what they celebrate or don't celebrate. Take a few days off and clear your head.
Merry Christmas all! Have a happy.
